On January 6, 2026, the International DanGui Forum: Synthetic Chemistry Frontiers was successfully held at the College of Chemistry, Central China Normal University.

    In the morning of January 6, Prof. Wen-Jing Xiao extended a warm welcome on behalf of the institute. And Prof. Daniel B. Werz from University of Freiburg delivered a lecture titled “Gain by Strain: Donor-Acceptor Cyclopropanes to Access Carbo- and Heterocyclic Compounds.” Prof. Hongjian Lu from Nanjing University presented a lecture titled “Skeleton Editing via N-atom Deletion and Insertion in Secondary Amines.” Prof. Zhenghu Xu from Shandong University gave a talk on “Asymmetric Catalysis to Planar Chiral Papacyclophanes.” Prof. Weibo Yang from Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, CAS, delivered a lecture titled “Synthesis of Pseudo-Natural Macrocycles and Their Applications in Medicinal Chemistry.”
