On May 21th, we were privileged to welcome esteemed scholars to our group's Master degree examinations. We had the great honor of having Prof. Zhibing Dong from Wuhan Institute of Technology, Prof. Weiming Yuan from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Prof. Guozhu Zhang and Prof. Honghui Lei from CCNU serve as esteemed committee members. Leading the examinations was the distinguished Prof. Zhibing Dong.

Lin He (advisors: Prof. Xiao and Prof. Cheng) was defending her thesis titled Synthesis of Chiral spiro-Indenes via Pd-Catalyzed Asymmetric (4+2) Dipolar Annulation

Bin-Jun Zhang (advisors: Prof. Xiao and Prof. Lu) was defending his thesis titled Synthesis and Anticancer Acticity Evaluation of Trifluoromethyl-Substituted Aminoindoline Compounds

Xue Wu (advisors: Prof. Xiao and Prof. Chen) was defending her thesis titled Photoredox and Copper Catalyzed Markovnikov Hydroarylation of Vinylarenes

Zhi-Hui Huang (advisors: Prof. Xiao and Prof. Lu) was defending his thesis titled Selective Oxidation of Methyl Arenes by Multiphase Photocatalysis

Tian-Tian Li (advisors: Prof. Shi and Prof. Chen) was defending her thesis titled Copper-Catalyzed Asymmetric 1,2-Alkylesterification of 1,3-Dienes with Cycloalkyl Hydroperoxides and Acids

Fan-Rong Meng (advisors: Prof. Xiao and Prof. Chen) was defending her thesis titled Photoredox-Catalyzed Vinylcyclopropane Addition/Cyclization Reaction for Synthesis of Tetrahydropyridines
