Congratulations to Yu-Qing Xiao, Bin Zhang, Liang-Neng Wang, Guo-Feng Li on defending their theses!

On May 13th, we were privileged to welcome esteemed scholars to our group's Doctoral degree examinations. We had the great honor of having Prof. Jin-Heng Li from Qingdao University of Science and Technology as the committee chair, and Prof. Ying-Kui Yang from Wuhan Textile University, Prof. An-Min Zheng from Wuhan University of Science and Technology, Prof. Hong-Jian Lu from Nanjing University, Prof. Peng-Fei Li from Xi'an Jiaotong University, Prof. Zhi-Qiang Ma from South China University of Technology, and Prof. Ke Gao from Central China Normal University as distinguished committee members. Leading the examinations was the distinguished Prof. Jin-Heng Li. Prof. Qiang Wang from Central China Normal University served as the defense secretary.

Yu-Qing Xiao  (advisors: Prof. Xiao and Prof. Lu) was defending her thesis titled Asymmetric Dipolar Cycloadditions Based on π-Allyl-Palladium Intermediates.

Bin Zhang (advisors: Prof. Xiao and Prof. Chen) was defending his thesis titled Visible-Light-Driven Controlled Generation and Transformations of Alkene Radical Anions.

Liang-Neng Wang  (advisors: Prof. Xiao and Prof. Lu) was defending his thesis titled Photoinduced Asymmetric Cobalt Catalysisfor C-H Transformations.

Guo-Feng Li  (advisors: Prof. Xiao and Prof. Chen) was defending his thesis titled Photoinduced Radical Carbonylative Ring-Expansion of Strained Carbocycles.

       The committee unanimously confirmed that all 2026 doctoral students have successfully completed their thesis defenses. Well done! Congratulations to all of them on their hard work and achievements!
