On May 17th, we had the great honor of welcoming esteemed guests and scholars to our group's PhD examinations. We were privileged to have Prof. Aiwen Lei from Wuhan University, Prof. Minghua Xu from Southern University of Science and Technology, Prof. Zhengkun Yu and Prof. Congyang Wang from the Chinese Academy of Sciences serve as esteemed committee members. Leading the examinations was the distinguished Prof. Guanwu Wang from University of Science and Technology of China.
Xuan Jiang (advisors: Prof. Xiao and Prof. Lu) was defending his thesis titled Asymmetric Corss-Couplings via the Merger of Photoredox and Cobalt Catalysis.
Bao-Cheng Wang (advisors: Prof. Xiao and Prof. Lu) was defending his thesis titled Copper and Palladium Catalyzed Dipolar Cyclization Reactions.
Dong Liang (advisors: Prof. Xiao and Prof. Chen) was defending his thesis titled Cyclizations of Photogenerated (Aza-)ortho-Quinone Methides and Visible-Light-Driven Atroposelective Minisci Reactions.
Bin Lu (advisors: Prof. Xiao and Prof. Chen) was defending his thesis titled Study on Visible-Light-Induced Alkyl Radical Aminocarbonylation.
