On May 16th, we were privileged to welcome esteemed scholars to our group's Master degree examinations. We had the great honor of having Prof. Zhichao Jin from Guizhou University, Prof. Jin-Sheng Yu from East China Normal University, Prof. Xi Lu from the University of Science and Technology of China, Prof. Hong Yi and Prof. Xiaotian Qi from Wuhan University to serve as esteemed committee members. Leading the examinations was the distinguished Prof. Zhichao Jin.

Wen-Cheng Wang (advisor: Prof. Xiao) was defending his thesis titled Efficient oxidation of furan biomass over non-homogeneous bifunctional polymer catalysts.

Ren-Jie Yu (advisor: Prof. Lu) was defending his thesis titled Heterogeneous Chiral Bisoxazoline Ligand Polymer for Photoinduced Asymmetric Cyanidation.

Chun-Yan Liao (advisor: Prof. Xiao) was defending her thesis titled Synthesis and Anticancer Activity Evaluation of Artesunate-Benzazepinoindole Compounds.

Ke Zhao (advisor: Prof. Chen) was defending her thesis titled Photoinduced Copper-Catalyzed Asymmetric Radical Sulfonylcyanation of Vinylarenes.

Meng Xiao (advisors: Prof. Lu and Prof. Zhang) was defending her thesis titled Theoretical Study on Palladium-Catalyzed Asymmetric Dipolar Cyclization.

Jing Wen (advisor: Prof. Shi) was defending her thesis titled Copper-Catalyzed Radical-Mediated 1, 2-Alkyl/Phosphonylation of Alkenes.

Bing-Feng Wang (advisors: Prof. Shi and Prof. Lu) was defending his thesis titled Natural light-induced orthogonal [3+2] radical cycloaddition design, application and mechanistic studies.

The committee unanimously confirmed that all 2025 master's students have successfully completed their thesis defenses. Well done! Congratulations to all of them on their hard work and achievements!
